Where did you study and what field did you study?
I studied Landscape and Garden Architecture at the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague.
What do you enjoy most about landscape architecture?
I enjoy designing diverse spaces, where sometimes a single detail can inspire the concept for the entire design. I’m happy when different wishes come together and the space works in a harmonious way. I also greatly enjoy selecting plants and materials.
Where do you find inspiration for your work?
I find inspiration while traveling and on trips, from colleagues, as well as in various articles and photographs. I often also draw inspiration directly from the surroundings of the garden or from the history of the place.
Which project is your favorite and why?
It’s hard to choose – every garden I’ve worked on has become close to my heart. Perhaps I’m still waiting for the one that will be my absolute favorite.
Your hobbies?
I enjoy hiking in the mountains and going on long walks, where both the views and the destinations are well earned. I also like dancing and relaxing in nature. I’m probably a true gatherer at heart – I love mushroom picking, harvesting fruit, or collecting nuts.
Your favorite place in the world?
Where my family and loved ones are. And right after that, definitely the mountains in summer.
