Where and what did you study?
I studied at the Czech Technical University in Prague at the Faculty of Architecture and urbanism. I completed few semesters in landscaping. I really started to be interested in a specific subject and decided to extent my knowledge and study at the Czech Gardening Academy in Mělník.
What do you like the most about landscape and garden architecture?
I like to work with space, which is changing over time. As well as I like unpredictability of nature. I like to oversee new projects during implementation. I enjoy the good feeling of finding old and neglected places. I like to work with a large variety of people with my projects. For these reasons I like to design private gardens and public spaces.
Where do you get the inspiration for your work?
In completed projects, in the moment and from photography. I like to observe all projects either Czech or foreign. I find inspiration all around me – wilderness, urban environment of city or village, behavior of people. Great inspiration is from the people who will be living in these environment.
Which part of your work do you like the most and why?
I don’t really have a favourite project. Each concept is puzzling from the client’s imagination. Great architects and last but not least implementer is very satisfying.
And your hobbies?
I like movement in every form, however, the most satisfying is on the squash court. I like to learn new things and educate myself not only in my field of work.
Where is your favorite place on the entire planet?
Everywhere with nice people and a good vibe!
