I studied at the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague – Faculty of Environmental studies. During my studies I spent a semester at TU Dresden Landschaftsarchitektur.

What do you like the most about landscape and garden architecture?

Working with a wide range of proffesions you have to be familiar with all aspects of the project. Planting, seeding a lawn is the finilaisation of our business. Before that you must go through many stages to have a prosperous and functioning garden fulfilled to the clients wishes. To bring together all these tasks and technical details is a daily challenge.

Where do you get the inspiration for your work?

Basically in everyday life.

Which part of your work do you like the most and why?

It is difficult to say. I like outcomes where the clients are happy. This is where you see and feel the satisfaction of the work. I don’t mean just simple and tidy flower beds, but the overall atmosphere of the environment. In my opinion; it is the garden in Dubeč.

Have you ever been awarded for your work?

In 2014 2nd I received an award for the Garden of the year – Private garden in Zvonoklasy.

What about your hobbies?

I like to ride my bicycle to work, it is a nice start to the day. Basically, all the way is happily downhill. If I don’t want to go uphill in the evening I fold up my bike and hop on the bus.

Where is your favorite place on the entire planet?

At home…. I am at home in Prague at Břevnov, in South of Bohemia and South of Plzeň.
