The farmhouse is located on the edge of a village and open fields landscape. Communication and movement is provided by self-binding gravel surfaces. A vegetable garden is situated near the residential part of the farm.
The area of the farmhouse inner courtyard, hemmed in by buildings from three sides, is almost 600m2. Luckily big enough to fulfill the wish of the owners to fit in a swimming lake in a form of a longer swimming track as well as two comfortable wooden terraces.
The overall character of the garden has been approached as rustic with a touch of Provence vibe, still naturally blending into the surroundings. The lawn has been removed entirely from the yard and replaced by perennial plants of a wild to meadow character, taking advantage of their drought resilience, making the maintenance of the holiday residence easy.
