Garden with a Gate

The goal was to unify and interconnect various sections of the garden: the part closest to the house, the front yard and the entrance, and to leave the backyard garden its own specific character.
The front garden changed dramatically. The existing trees and shrubs have been removed, the outdoor tile pavement was replaced by granite cobble stone. The slope on the right leading to the fence was divided into two terraces by an inserted container with a birch tree.
The backyard modifications were mostly vegetation-related: the undergrowth plantings unified and two maple trees added. A concrete tiling has been exchanged and the pergola has been adjusted to shield the garden off from the neighbor.
A serpent-shaped footpath has been laid from the gate to the walnut tree with a tree house. We have planted three elevated flower beds and placed a bench to decorate the pool side. The central part provides ground for pétangue, a three-chamber composter and an improved garden shed. To both directions from the path spreads a vineyard in the lawn. A fireplace sits close to the house. The entire space is united through a meadow-style lawn.
