We are a team of landscape architects who get inspired by the location of the gardens. Our work has taken us to the windswept slopes of North America, as well as the urban gardens of Central Europe and the olive groves of the Mediterranean.
We create gardens that are in harmony with the place and the climate. We plant them with plants that are used to the local conditions and can cope with the hot, dry summers. We use materials that become more beautiful over time and we focus on solutions that save energy and precious water.
In landscapes scented by the sea, today we help people create spaces that are close to their hearts and nature. Our experience allows us to design unique, full of life and yet aesthetically impressive gardens that perfectly complement different types of properties.
Garden in Malaga
A plot of land in Malaga, measuring around 500 m², presented a typical challenge for the local area. The original grassy areas around the pool were no match for the summer drought. We replaced them with paving and low-maintenance seating areas. We then added trees, perennials in soft shades and greenery in containers.
The terraces offer beautiful views of the sea, but they lacked coziness. We added shade, plants and comfortable furniture, making them the main living areas, where you can sit quietly with a book and spend an evening with friends.
Finally, we highlighted everything with subtle evening lighting, which gives the garden a peaceful atmosphere even after dark. And the result? A garden that is alive even on hot summer days, while not requiring too much water or work.
Garden in Valencia
This garden has undergone a major transformation. It is located just a hundred meters from the sea level and its original state no longer suited the lifestyle of the owners or the conditions of the site. Working with water was essential for us – using available resources for watering and emphasizing planting that can handle hot summers without unnecessary effort.
We surrounded the ceramic pool with a quiet zone immersed in greenery. The design also included sound comfort – protection from noise from the surroundings, whether from neighbours or from the road. A shaded corner for children to play was created under the terrace. We created a place for the lady of the house to grow herbs and tomatoes in portable containers for her own pleasure.
The front garden original fountain was returned to its place – an inconspicuous but powerful gesture that revived the genius loci. This created a seating area hidden in the shade. The woodshed and barbecue area only complemented the newly created comfort in the garden.
